The University of Southern California, Stanford and the University of Texas all fired coaches and others implicated in the college bribery scandal. USC also says it will review any student or graduate who may be connected to the alleged scheme.
Crews in Nigeria are searching through a collapsed building for school children and others who may be trapped. At least 8 people died in the collapse and more than 3 dozen were rescued alive.
And forecasters are warning of ice jams and major floods in Nebraska and Iowa. A massive winter storm brought blizzards and floods to more than 25 states.
